Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love sustained a groin strain during Sunday’s win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, NFL Network reports.

The report cites an MRI Love underwent Monday to evaluate the injury. He’ll undergo treatment throughout the week and has a shot to play in next Sunday’s NFC North showdown against the Detroit Lions, per the report.

The prognosis is good news in Green Bay a day after head coach Matt LaFleur expressed “a high level of concern” about his quarterback’s health.

“I think everybody could see him struggling to move around and I just got to a point where we didn’t, he didn’t feel like he could protect himself,” LaFleuer told reporters following Green Bay’s 30-27 win.

Love appeared to suffer the injury early in the first quarter. He landed awkwardly after throwing on the run and had a noticeable limp afterward.

He remained in the game before appearing to aggravate the injury on contact in the second half.

Love was in obvious pain after the contact and did not return to the game on Green Bay’s next offensive possession. Backup Malik Willis took over at quarterback and finished the game.
