Florida defensive lineman decommits from Wisconsin football’s 2025 class

MADISON – A few hours after one recruit flipped his commitment to Wisconsin, the Badgers football team lost a member of its 2025 class.

Wilnerson Telemaque, a 6-foot-6, 250-pound defensive end from Miami Northwestern High School, announced Monday night that he was reopening his recruitment.

He shared the news on X.

“After a conversation with my family and coaches I will be decommitting from the University of Wisconsin,” he wrote. “I would like to thank Coach Fickell and Coach Whitlow for recruiting me. My recruitment is 100% open.”

Earlier in the evening Oconomowoc tight end Emmett Bork announced his commitment to UW. He was a Michigan State recruit.

Telemaque announced his commitment to Wisconsin June 18.

Without Telemaque, Wisconsin has three defensive linemen in its 2025 class: Middleton’s Torin Pettaway, Ohio’s Drayden Pavey and Texas’s Xavier Ukponu.
