Texas A&M is reportedly trending towards landing two elite 2025 propsects

.

Texas A&M’s 38-23 win over LSU will go down in Aggie history as one of greatest comebacks over the past decade-plus, as the Tiger’s 17-7 halftime lead evaporated after Aggies’ head coach Mike Elko made the switch at quarterback to dual-threat Marcel Reed, who jolted the offense to five consecutive scoring drives.

While the Aggies are focused on traveling to face South Carolina for a second consecutive primetime game, Elko and staff made significant strides on the recruiting trail, already landing three commitments in the 2026 class after Saturday’s win, while it has now been confirmed that the Aggies are trending towards landing two prospects in the 2025 cycle.

2025 4-star wide receiver CJ Wiley, alongside 2025 5-star Edge Javion Hilson, both attended Saturday’s game, experiencing everything the program had to offer while taking part in the blackout while watching the Aggies defeat a top 10-ranked team in front of over 108,000 fans in Kyle Field.

Just a day after visiting, Wiley announced his decommitment from Florida State, immediately spurring speculation that the Aggies are now the front-runner for the Georgia product.

On Tuesday, On3 Recruiting analyst Steve Wiltfong revealed that Wiley and Hilson are now trending towards signing with Texas A&M. However, Georiga, LSU, and Colorado are also in the mix for Wiley.

Hilson, who has remained a favorite to land with the Texas Longhorns, will reportedly return to College Station for Texas A&M vs. Texas and, according to Wiltfong, feels the Aggies are the team to watch for him going forward.
