Michigan football has 17 pledges at this point in the 2025 class and that number will likely still go through some ebbs and flows with just over one month until early signing day.
There are some commits who are looking elsewhere (such as tight end Andrew Olesh and safety Ivan Taylor) while the Wolverines look to garner commitments from uncommitted prospects and pledges elsewhere, alike. Coming off the heels of a big recruiting weekend for the MSU game and with another coming up before the Oregon game, Michigan is looking to close strong.
With that in mind, and in no particular order, here are 15 recruits who are either uncommitted or committed elsewhere who very well could end up in the 2025 class once everything is said and done.

Let’s just go ahead and get him out of the way. The No. 1 recruit in the country according to all of the recruiting services (except for Rivals) has been committed to LSU since January, but Michigan is making a late overture for his services, and he appears to be receptive. The Belleville (Mich.) standout is likely looking for more than a substantial NIL package, and Michigan is still working on him. This may go down to the wire, but Sherrone Moore is giving it everything he’s got to pry him away from the SEC.

Michigan was in the thick of Earls’ recruitment back when he was a South Carolina commit, but he ultimately ended up flipping to Georgia during the summer. However, the Wolverines never stopped recruiting him and he ended up visiting Ann Arbor for the MSU game last week. As a result of some positive momentum, analysts across recruiting sites have predicted Earls will flip to the maize and blue. However, Georgia is still working to keep him in the fold.
