It feels like last week’s performance against Nebraska kind of soured where things are for Ohio State, but in case you lost track of where things are, the Buckeyes are still very much in the hunt for a Big Ten title and chance to make the College Football Playoff.
And … the next step on that journey is one of the biggest games of the year, a trip to Happy Valley to take on undefeated, No. 3 Penn State.
As we like to do every week, we like to keep tabs on what’s being said in enemy territory and even check in on what the opposing coach has to say about the Buckeyes leading up to the game.
In this case, it’s James Franklin and all that he brings to the table. He met with the media in State College on Monday to preview the matchup with Ohio State and we have the entire press conference for your viewing pleasure thanks to the Big Ten Football YouTube channel.
If you watch, you’ll get to hear Franklin talk about the challenge of playing Ohio State including the talent on both sides of the ball, credit to the coaching staff, who is concerned about, and more.
Ohio State and Penn State are scheduled for a high Noon ET affair on Fox. Check back with us the remainder of the week as we have more analysis and coverage leading up to the game. Also check back during and after for instant reaction and commentary on one of the biggest games of the year.
