Clemson football has landed a new commitment in the 2025 recruiting class, flipping four-star offensive lineman Gavin Blanchard from UCF.
Blanchard, a standout from Wiregrass Ranch in Florida, had been on Clemson has had their eye on Blanchard for some time, having visited campus multiple times earlier this year before initially committing to UCF in June. Known for his versatility, the most interesting thing about Blanchard is his ranking among the rest of the 2025 recruiting class.
247Sports and On3 have Blanchard ranked No. 128 and No. 130 among interior offensive linemen. Rivals and ESPN, however, have Blanchard ranked No. 9 and No. 3 among IOL. It’s a massive difference when you think about it.
The 6-foot-3, 300-pound lineman becomes Clemson’s 14th verbal pledge in the 2025 class and the fourth offensive lineman, joining fellow commits Brayden Jacobs, Easton Ware, and Rowan Byrne.
