Staff predictions for UNC football vs. Florida State

.

North Carolina ended their losing streak last week by dominating Virginia on the road. With the Tar Heels back in the win column, they are looking to build a winning streak.

Next up? A road game against Florida State, a team that has really struggled this season. The Tar Heels are the favorites in this game and getting a win here would really help their bowl chances.

With a new week here, let’s look at our staff predictions for the game.

Zack Pearson

Prediction: UNC 27, Florida State 20

Record: 5-3

Prediction: UNC 31, Florida State 17

Record: 7-1

The Tar Heels will score at least three touchdowns, but their defense will decide this one again.

Matthew Beighle

Prediction: UNC 24, Florida State 17

Record: 4-4

North Carolina proved my last week’s prediction wrong. I was done picking the Tar Heels, after their current losing streak and inability to finish a game or keep a lead, to win until they proved me wrong. They proved me wrong. I considered siding with Florida State here and the fact that Uiagalelei is unable to play is almost a benefactor…
