He connected with wide receiver Jordan Watkins early and often. Watkins had eight receptions for 254 yards and five touchdowns.

The Rebels remain in College Football Playoff contention, but need a big win over Georgia to improve their playoff hopes.

Tennessee beat Kentucky 28-18 in a tight home win to keep the Volunteers’ hopes of playing in the SEC championship alive.

Quarterback Diego Pavia and Vanderbilt added to Auburn’s misery with a 17-7 win at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Oklahoma got a 59-14 nonconference win over Maine. Mississippi State beat UMass 45-20 in an easy win.
