Texas moves up to No. 5 in US LBM Coaches poll

The latest US LBM Coaches Poll is out and the Texas Longhorns have moved up to No. 5 in the rankings. Ohio State beat No. 3 Penn State in Happy Valley, dropping the Nittany Lions out of the Top 5.

Oregon remains the No. 1 team in the nation after easily dispatching Michigan on Saturday. Georgia stays at No. 2 after pulling away from rival Florida. The Buckeyes move up from fourth to 3rd. Unbeaten Miami moves up to No. 4.

Tennessee moves up to No. 6 after a win over Kentucky. Penn State checks in at No. 7. Notre Dame, who has recovered from its early season loss to Northern Illinois, is all the way up to No. 8 this week. BYU and unbeaten Indiana round out the Top 10.

The biggest falls this week were Texas A&M, down five spots after losing to South Carolina, Clemson down nine spots after getting beat by Louisville and Iowa State who dropped eight spots after losing to Texas Tech.
