Welcome to the 10th MyCentralJersey.com’s Big Central Conference Readers’ Choice Football Player of the Week poll as the postseason kicked off with the NJSIAA public quarterfinals this past week.

Voting closes Thursday at noon.

James Bodley, Piscataway

The senior did it all in Piscataway’s 42-13 win over Bayonne in North 1 Group 5. Bodley led the Chiefs’ ground and pound attack with 195 rushing yards on 21 carries and had rushing scores of 40 and 7 yards. He added a 40-yard fumble recovery and an 85-yard kickoff return for scores.

Arique Fleming, Elizabeth

The sophomore quarterback had another big game as the Minutemen topped Morristown 34-33 in North 2 Group 5. Fleming finished 11-for-17 for 189 passing yards, connecting with Antoine Blount on a pair of scores. Fleming also ran 11 times for 108 yards and two rushing scores.

Jackson Jankowicz, Hillsborough

The senior made six visits to the end zone in the Raiders’ 49-20 win over Freehold Township in South Group 5. Jankowicz had 19 carries rushing for 237 yards and five touchdowns and had three catches for 60 yards and a score.

TJ Munn, New Providence

The senior quarterback erupted on the ground with 205 rushing yards on 11 carries and three touchdowns. He also threw a touchdown and snagged an interception on defense as the Pioneers topped Boonton 49-24 in North 2 Group 1.

Joe Squicciarini, Bridgewater-Raritan

The junior was 4-for-4 kicking extra points, and connected on…
