College Football Playoff rankings release show: How to watch, stream

We are less than 48 hours away from the first College Football Playoff rankings show of 2024. The new, expanded 12-team format has teams around the country biting their nails, wondering if they’re in position to compete for a national title.

The new format also allows for teams with one or two losses to continue pursuing college football’s greatest honor. That includes the Texas Longhorns. Despite their loss to Georgia, the Longhorns are still firmly in the thick of the playoff race, but their margin of error has shrunk substantially. As more and more undefeated teams fall, the more teams will wind up being considered for one of the twelve coveted spots.

As it stands right now though, Texas has very little to fear. The talent on this team is tough to match, with stars like Quinn Ewers, Quintrevion Wisner, Isaiah Bond, and Anthony Hill Jr., it would take an unprecedented collapse for Texas to miss the playoff entirely. Here’s how to watch the first College Football Playoff ranking show.
