Even despite not playing this past Saturday due to a bye week, the Alabama Crimson Tide still moved in both of the AP and Coaches Poll’s on Sunday, rising multiple spots in each.

However, what about ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) rating, which has considered Alabama highly throughout the 2024 season?

According to ESPN’s FPI, Alabama is still considered as the No. 3 team in the nation, trailing only the Texas Longhorns and Ohio State Buckeyes. The upcoming opponent for Alabama, the LSU Tigers, rose two spots during their bye week up to No. 12.

In addition to their No. 3 ranking, FPI also gives Alabama a 39.7% chance to win out, as well as 55.7% to make the College Football Playoff. The Crimson Tide also have a 15.1% chance to win the SEC, 15% to make the national championship game, and 8.9% to win it all.

Should the Crimson Tide defeat LSU this upcoming Saturday as well, will those percentages rise next week?
