NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported that the Commanders are getting Lattimore and a 2025 fifth-round pick, while the Saints are getting a 2025 third-round pick and a 2025 4th-round pick as well as their 2025 sixth-round pick from the Hassan Ridgeway trade.
The Commanders are 7-2 and currently at the top of the NFC East. They need help in their secondary, and Lattimore will be a great fit once he’s healthy (he missed Week 9 with a hamstring issue). Drafted by the Saints with the 11th overall pick in 2017 draft, Lattimore has played his entire career with the Saints. Now he’ll go from a team with a seven-game losing streak to a legitimate divisional contender.
