Vanderbilt football injury report vs South Carolina: Who’s in, who’s out for Week 11 game

No. 25 Vanderbilt football is somewhat banged-up heading into Saturday’s matchup against South Carolina at FirstBank Stadium.

Starting receiver Quincy Skinner Jr. is among the players listed as questionable in the initial availability report Wednesday. Running back Sedrick Alexander and quarterback Diego Pavia were both listed as probable, an acknowledgement that the two have been playing through various ailments.

Pavia has had knee and shoulder issues, though he hasn’t missed any games. Alexander was a game-time decision last weekend against Auburn and ended up playing.

Vanderbilt (6-3, 3-2 SEC) clinched bowl eligibility with the win over the Tigers. The Gamecocks (5-3, 3-3) provide a new challenge as a team the Commodores have lost to 15 straight times.

BJ Diakite (turf toe) remains out, as does Zaylin Wood (ankle). Bradley Mann is a new addition to the group of injured players, as he is out for the season with a torn ACL.
