Before Alabama football vs LSU at Tiger Stadium Saturday, how has Tide fared in Death Valley?

LSU is celebrating the 100-year anniversary of Tiger Stadium. It’s come to be affectionately known as “Death Valley,” housing more than 100,000 fans each game day and developing a reputation as one of the top atmospheres in college football.

It’s an atmosphere Alabama has, historically, found success in.

Since beating LSU 42-0 in its first game at Tiger Stadium on Oct. 10, 1925, Alabama has won 27 of its 38 games in Death Valley.

The Tigers’ most recent win against the Crimson Tide in Tiger Stadium came in 2022, beating Alabama 32-31 in overtime and ending a five-game Crimson Tide win streak in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

LSU has not beaten Alabama in back-to-back games inside Tiger Stadium since 2004 and 2006, matching its longest home win streak against the Crimson Tide from 1946 and 1948.
