Arch Manning: Texas football backup QB replaces Quinn Ewers in blowout of Florida

With seven minutes remaining in the third quarter, Texas football had battered Florida comprehensively enough to get its backup quarterback some reps.

Arch Manning jogged onto the field with the Longhorns offense, leading 42-3, and received a huge roar from the fans at Royal-Memorial Stadium.

This time, Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers completed 19 of his 28 pass attempts for 333 yards and five touchdowns before Manning’s number was called.
