Colorado State football team picks up commitment from Las Vegas athlete D’Angelo Hagans

A versatile athlete from Nevada has picked the Colorado State football program over hometown UNLV and others.

D’Angelo Hagans verbally committed to the Rams on Friday, picking CSU over finalists Utah, UNLV and Fresno State. He also has reported offers from Montana, Portland State and others.

Hagans attends Silverado High School in Las Vegas. He’s rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports.

In 10 games this year Hagans has 49 receptions for 596 yards and five touchdowns. He also has 206 rushing yards and 337 kick return yards.

He also has 28 total tackles and three interceptions on the defensive side of the ball.

He’s rated as a top-200 safety nationally and the No. 24 player in Nevada.

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Hagans can sign with the Rams beginning Dec. 4, when the early signing period begins.
