Former Alabama Crimson Tide football coach Nick Saban is known for his use of colorful language and phrases.
Anyone who watched Saban through the years at his various press conferences at Alabama or saw him animated on the sidelines during fall Saturdays is well aware of that fact.
One of Saban’s favorite expressions is the phrase, ‘like sh-t through a tin horn.” The legendary coach first used it many years ago during a viral moment when he recalled a 2011 game between the Crimson Tide and then FCS opponent Georgia Southern.
On Saturday’s edition of “College GameDay,” which broadcast live from Baton Rouge ahead of No. 11 Alabama’s showdown with the No. 13 LSU Tigers, Saban used the reference again when breaking down the Week 11 matchup at Tiger Stadium.

Saban added that he couldn’t explain the origin of one of his favorite expressions. “It just goes right through,” Saban added.
His “GameDay” colleagues had some fun banter with Saban after the exchange.
“I don’t know why you would put that in a tin horn,” host Rece Davis quipped.
“I wondered if the tin horn was for that,” Kirk Herbstreit mused.
Alabama and LSU will kick off at 6:30 p.m. CT at Tiger Stadium. The game can be seen on ABC.
