Notre Dame’s 2024 schedule: Are the Irish playing today?

Will the US LBM Coaches Poll No. 8 Notre Dame Fighting Irish be on the field today in Week 11 of the college football schedule?

Following a bye last week, and a 51-14 win over Navy the previous week, Notre Dame is hosting Florida State at home Saturday night.

The Fighting Irish are fighting for their College Football Playoff lives and probably need to win out. Meanwhile, the Seminoles come in at 1-8 after being expected to compete this season for a spot in the CFP. Florida State is a mess but still talented enough to give the Irish fits — though Notre Dame ultimately should win.

Aug. 31: at Texas A&M (W, 23-13)

Sept. 7: Northern Illinois (L, 16-14)

Sept. 14: at Purdue (W, 66-7)

Sept. 21: Miami (Ohio) (W, 28-3)

Sept. 28: No. 25 Louisville (W, 31-24)

Oct. 5: Bye

Oct. 12: Stanford (W, 49-7)

Oct. 19: at Georgia Tech (game played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta) (W, 31-13)

Oct. 26: at Navy (game played at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey) (W, 51-14)

Nov. 2: Bye

Nov. 9: Florida State

Nov. 16: Virginia

Nov. 23: No. 18 Army (game to be played at Yankee Stadium in New York City)

Nov. 30: at USC

Record: 7-1
