The No. 1 Oregon football team will look to continue its undefeated run in its final road trip of the regular season against Wisconsin on Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium.
The game is set to kick off at 4:30 p.m. PT.
Here are some highlights from Oregon coach Dan Lanning’s weekly press conference Monday night.
Dan Lanning on Wisconsin’s Luke Fickell: ‘I think he’s proven he can develop teams’
Though the Badgers (5-4, 3-3 Big Ten) have struggled over the last month, Lanning is not taking them and head coach Luke Fickell lightly this weekend.
Lanning was on Georgia’s staff when the Bulldogs played Fickell and Cincinnati in the 2021 Peach Bowl, with UGA barely scraping by on a last-second field goal to win.
“Coach Fickell is a great coach,” Lanning said. “I think he’s proven that he can develop teams … It speaks to the kind of culture he can create. You can see things kind of coming together for him now at Wisconsin and I think he’s doing a good job.”
Wisconsin started the season 5-2 and 3-1 in conference play but have lost each of their last two games against Penn State and Iowa decisively. Oregon will be the third top-10 team the Badgers have hosted this season at Camp Randall Stadium, with the others being Alabama and Penn State.

Dan Lanning says Wisconsin has one of the better secondary’s Oregon has seen this season
Lanning isn’t one to throw praise around lightly. The third-year head coach praised Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty as one of the best he’d seen in his time as a collegiate coach. The back has produced at a Heisman level since the Ducks scraped past the Broncos in September.
Where Wisconsin is elite, per Lanning, is in its secondary.
