Texas A&M football has at least one player invited to a postseason all-star game.
Texas A&M announced on social media Wednesday that Aggies senior defensive lineman Shemar Turner has an invitation to play in the 2025 Senior Bowl.
Through nine games in 2024, Turner has 26 total tackles, two sacks and one forced fumble; he has been a key piece to an Aggies defense that is 33rd in scoring defense in the country and 39th in rushing defense, allowing just 124.7 yards per game.
Turner was named to the All-SEC Second Team in 2023 and was selected to the preseason coaches’ All-SEC team ahead of this season.

Turner is in his fourth season with the program, where he has appeared in 40 games and recorded 105 tackles and 10 sacks.
With defensive line teammates Nic Scourton and Shemar Stewart also receiving NFL attention this season, Turner figures to be the first of many Aggies who are projected to receive invitations.
