Nov. 13—GRAND FORKS — The UND football program has one final regular-season home game left as the Fighting Hawks host South Dakota on Saturday at noon in the Alerus Center.
Here are eight things to know about the visiting Coyotes.
One of the league’s best tight ends, JJ Galbreath, didn’t play last Saturday in South Dakota’s win over Indiana State.
Galbreath was injured in an overtime loss to South Dakota State. He has 356 receiving yards and two touchdowns this year including an 80-yard touchdown catch against Southern Illinois.
He’s questionable against UND.

The USD defense now leads the nation in scoring defense, holding opponents to just 11.1 points per game. The pass defense is No. 1 in the MVFC at 176.4 yards per game.
USD linebacker Gary Bryant III leads the way with 68 tackles.
South Dakota has two strong options in the offensive backfield with Charles Pierre Jr. and Travis Theis.
Pierre Jr. is averaging 96.9 yards per game with Theis at 81.3. That ranks No. 1 and No. 4, respectively, in the MVFC in rushing yards per game.
USD is one of 15 FCS teams to average 200-plus yards on the ground per game.
Theis and Pierre Jr. have…
