Who will Giants, Jets pick in 2025 NFL Draft? Top 10 college football players to watch

With the NFL schedule nearing Week 11, the contenders and pretenders vying to hoist the Lombardi Trophy in New Orleans on Feb. 9 have clearly been established.

You have the likes of the Chiefs, Bills, Lions, Eagles and Ravens, all with at least seven wins and clear players to be representing their respective conferences in Super Bowl LIX.

Then you have the Giants and Jets, who are a combined 5-15 and would need to ultimately win out just to have a chance at even qualifying for the playoffs.

Barring a complete turnaround in the second half of the season, the two organizations that call MetLife Stadium home have a high-percentage chance that either one or both will be selecting in the Top 10 next April when the 2025 NFL Draft takes place in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Here are the current Top-10 college players that could be available for Big Blue and Gang Green to select with their first-round pick:

1. Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

It’s hard to start anywhere else but Sanders. The 6-foot-2 QB — and the youngest son of Hall of Famer Deion Sanders — will undoubtedly be one of, if not the top signal caller drafted as sportsbooks currently have him as the odds-on-favorite to be the No. 1 overall pick.

Sanders has had a miraculous college career at both Jackson State and now Colorado, where he’s led the Buffaloes from a 4-8 record last season in the Pac-12 to a 7-2 record in the Big 12 and ranked No. 17 in the country heading into Week 12.

Sanders does all of his work through the passing game, where he’s thrown for 2,882 yards and 24 touchdowns (third most in FBS) and currently has a career high…
