Freshman phenom Ryan Williams is hard to contain on offense.
The Alabama football wide receiver already has 731 receiving yards and seven touchdowns entering Saturday’s action vs. FCS opponent Mercer. Williams did not take long to prove his versatility and explosiveness against the Bears.

On the first drive of the game for the No. 9 Crimson Tide, Williams took a reverse from quarterback Jalen Milroe and scooted 29 years for the opening score for Alabama.

Williams had two rushes for 24 yards entering the matchup against Mercer. The 29-yard rushing attempt was a career-high for a rush and the second rushing score for the 17-year-old phenom. Williams had a 22-yard rush last week against LSU in a 42-13 win and scored his TD on a two-yard rush on Oct. 5 against Vanderbilt.
