SEC football power rankings after Week 12

Week 12 of the college football season has concluded for Southeastern Conference teams. Four SEC teams had an open date in Week 12: Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Oklahoma and Vanderbilt.

Week 12 was highlighted by a top 10 SEC matchup between No. 4 Tennessee (8-2, 5-2 SEC) and No. 10 Georgia (8-2, 6-2 SEC). Rankings reflect the US LBM Coaches Poll. The Bulldogs were victorious, 31-17, against Tennessee at Sanford Stadium.

No. 21 Missouri (7-3, 3-3 SEC) at No. 23 South Carolina (7-3, 5-3 SEC) marked the only other top 25 matchup in the SEC. The Gamecocks defeated Missouri, 34-30. Both teams combined for 31 points in the fourth quarter.

Mississippi State remains the only winless team in SEC play this season. The Bulldogs will look for their first league win versus Missouri or at Ole Miss to end their regular-season schedule.
