The Oklahoma Sooners will close the 2024 season in Baton Rouge when they take on the LSU Tigers. When the Sooners make their first trip to the bayou, they’ll face the Tigers in primetime.

The SEC announced that the Sooners will take on LSU starting at 6 p.m. CT, and the game will be broadcast on ESPN.

It’ll be the sixth time this season that the Oklahoma Sooners will play in primetime. The Sooners welcome the Crimson Tide to Norman this Saturday night for an evening clash of blue blood programs. Oklahoma is currently 2-2 in those games with losses to Tennessee and Missouri under the lights.

LSU’s Tiger Stadium is widely considered one of the toughest places to play at night. Since 2022, under Brian Kelly, the Tigers are 13-1 in primetime games at home with the lone loss coming just a couple of weeks ago at the hands of the Alabama Crimson Tide.

However, the Tigers are facing a three-game losing streak as they get ready to take on a scrappy Vanderbilt team this Saturday. Could LSU be riding a four-game losing streak when they take on the Oklahoma Sooners?
