Notre Dame’s last six Senior Days have been quite fruitful

It’s always nice to win on Senior Day, and the No. 6 Notre Dame Fighting Irish have had no trouble doing that in recent years.

It helps, of course, if the opponent is one you should be able to beat easily. The Fighting Irish have been heavy favorites on the last few Senior Days, and Notre Dame has had no problems taking care of business.

Let’s look at the last seven Senior Days, ending with yesterday’s big win over Virginia.

2018 against Florida State

The Irish rolled over the Florida State Seminoles 42-13.

2019 against Boston College

2020 against Syracuse
