5 Crimson Tide to know ahead of Oklahoma vs. Alabama

Oklahoma’s final home game of the season is set to take place on Saturday. The Sooners will welcome fellow college football royalty, the Alabama Crimson Tide, to Norman, Oklahoma, for the first time since 2002.

This season has been a slog. Oklahoma remains just one win away from clinching bowl eligibility. This will be their final opportunity to do so in front of the home crowd before they conclude the regular season in Baton Rouge under the lights against Brian Kelly and the LSU Tigers.

The task is arduous. The Crimson Tide are very much in a position to enter the newly expanded College Football Playoff. Winning out would be the easiest way to do so. Come Saturday, expect a motivated and focused team under Kalen DeBoer to come out ready to rock.

The engine that makes things go is quarterback Jalen Milroe, a terrific collegiate quarterback. His athleticism stands out the moment you cut on the tape, and he has a live arm to pair with his dynamic running ability to stress defensive coordinators.
