FINDLAY — Division IV football teams in Richland County couldn’t have asked for a better year.
And the cherry on top came when the Ohio Prep Sports Media Association announced its Division IV All-Northwest District football teams and special awards.
Ontario senior quarterback Bodpegn Miller and Shelby junior quarterback Brayden DeVito shared Division IV Northwest District Offensive Player of the Year honors with Perkins running back Isaac Bunts.

Miller has his team playing in the Division IV regional championship game for the first time in program history after he posted an insane year completing 140-of-233 passes for 2,122 yards and 20 touchdowns and running for 1,909 yards on 190 carries with 19 touchdowns. He also currently has 34 tackles, two tackles for loss, a sack and three interceptions on defense and carries a 35.9 punting yard average along with 17 touchbacks on kickoffs.
DeVito had a year to remember. He completed 199-of-294 passes for 3,625 yards and 33 touchdowns while adding 1,560 rushing yards on 188 carries with 26 TDs and four catches for 76 yards and a TD. He also added 33 tackles, one interception and a defensive TD giving him an incredible 61 total touchdowns for the season.
Shelby senior Karsen Homan was named the Division IV Northwest District Co-Lineman of the Year after he posted 67 tackles, 20 tackles for loss and eight sacks as a defensive end.
All three players took first team All-Northwest District honors along with Shelby’s Brady Bowman, Xadrian Ream and Dennis LaFon and Ontario’s Grady Taylor, Kooper Kilgore, Rayvon Skelton and Landon Sowards.
Bowman had an amazing season at wide receiver finishing the year with 78 catches for 1,477 yards and 12 touchdowns. Ream took first team honors…
