OXFORD — Ole Miss football is getting a star player back.
After Ole Miss football coach Lane Kiffin hinted at star receiver Tre Harris coming back from injury to play against Florida on Saturday (11 a.m., TV), it has materialized on the injury report. Harris has been dealing with a lower-body injury.
Harris is probable on the injury report filed on Wednesday night. He leads Ole Miss (8-2, 4-2) with 987 receiving yards. Harris is fifth nationally in receiving yards despite not playing since Oct. 12 against LSU.
Kiffin said Ole Miss is in a good spot regarding injuries.
“This is the healthiest we’ve been since…ever,” Kiffin said Wednesday.
There are 11 players on the Rebels’ injury report filed on Wednesday night. There were 26 on the initial injury report Ole Miss filed two weeks ago before the Georgia game.
