No votes for Florida Gators in Week 13 US LBM Coaches Poll

Week 13 of the college football season provided a ton of chaos, including a massive upset by the Florida Gators against the Ole Miss Rebels.

Unfortunately, a second-straight victory over a ranked opponent wasn’t enough for any of the US LBM Coaches Poll voters to include the Gators in the Week 13 top 25. However, every team outside of the top four moved spots this week.

The biggest winners in this week’s poll are the Arizona State Sun Devils, who jumped seven spots with a win over BYU, and the biggest losers are the Colorado Buffaloes, who dropped out of the top 25 after entering Saturday at No. 18 in the country. Ole Miss was a close second to Colorado, dropping seven spots to No. 16 after losing to Florida.

The Oregon Ducks, Ohio State Buckeyes, Texas Longhorns and Penn State Nittany Lions stayed put at the top of the poll, in that order, and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish joined them inside the top five.

SEC schools in Coaches Poll top 25

Eight SEC programs are ranked inside the top 25 after 13 weeks of play, including No. 3 Texas and No. 16 Ole Miss mentioned above.

The No. 6 Georgia Bulldogs and No. 8 Tennessee Volunteers remain firmly in the College Football Playoff picture, while the Alabama Crimson Tide and South Carolina Gamecocks have a chance to make the CFP at Nos. 13 and 14, respectively.

The No. 19 Texas A&M Aggies might be out of the playoff picture after losing to Auburn last night, but a Week 14 matchup with Texas provides a narrow path to salvation. The No. 24 Missouri Tigers moved back into the top 25 this week but have virtually no chance to make the CFP.
