247Sports released its latest recruit rankings for the upcoming 2025 class. All teams are looking to beef up their class of 2025 ahead of Dec. 4, the beginning of the early signing period.
The Georgia Bulldogs are still the SEC’s best-ranked recruiting class and the nation’s best recruiting class. The Bulldogs earned the SEC’s top spot after cornerback Dominick Kelly reclassified from 2026 to 2025. Georgia earned the distinction of the nation’s top overall class after four-star edge rusher Chase Linton committed.
Despite having the best recruiting class, Georgia is still looking to improve. The Bulldogs are in contact with an elite Boise State quarterback commit to find a 2025 replacement for Carson Beck. Georgia is also expecting a big announcement from a four-star offensive tackle prospect.
There have been some notable changes in the rankings. Alabama now holds the No. 2 spot instead of Ohio State after the Crimson Tide flipped a four-star running back recruit from Michigan State. The Michigan Wolverines soar to the No. 10 spot after five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood flipped his commitment from LSU. The Florida Gators enter the rankings at No. 17 after they flipped a four-star linebacker from USC and landed two three-stars.
Georgia’s recruit class includes five five-stars, including Elijah Griffin, and 19 four-stars. It’s an incredible feat, especially since the SEC has six of the nation’s top 10 recruiting classes.
