Michigan football’s 2025 safety class appeared to be awfully crowded with four-stars Kainoa Winston and Ivan Taylor committed, which made it seem less likely that the Wolverines would be able to garner the commitment of 2025 Monroe (N.C.) four-star safety Jordan Young.
But a lot has changed in recent weeks.
Though Young committed to Clemson on Nov. 2 (the same day Michigan hosted Oregon), Taylor ended up flipping to Alabama. The Wolverines actually got another safety commit in Belleville (Mich.) four-star Elijah Dotson, but Dotson has lobbied his 7-on-7 teammate, Young, to join him in Ann Arbor.
And it’s starting to look as if that may happen.
On Wednesday, On3’s Steve Wiltfong, EJ Holland, and Ethan McDowell all predicted Young to flip to Michigan football.
