OU football injury update: Andrel Anthony, Brenen Thompson questionable vs. LSU

NORMAN — OU football might be missing its six best receivers against LSU on Saturday.

Wide receivers Andrel Anthony, who hasn’t played since the Sooners’ season opener, and Brenen Thompson, who was injured against Alabama, are listed as questionable. Running back Jovantae Barnes is probable.

As expected, wide receivers Deion Burks and Jalil Farooq are out.

“(Farooq), he had a little bit of a setback at Missouri,” Venables said on Tuesday. “So X-rays showed a little bit of a setback there. Really just unfortunate.”
