The IHSA fall high school sports season comes to a close on Friday and Saturday with the football state championship games, starting with the 10 a.m. Friday kickoff of Lena-Winslow’s shot at a seventh state title.
Le-Win (13-0) takes on Belleville Althoff Catholic (13-0) in the Class 1A final, the first game of the eight-series championship weekend at Hancock Stadium on the campus of Illinois State University in Normal.
