It’s the season of flips.
Missouri football flipped the commitment of four-star running back Marquise Davis, per a report from On3’s Hayes Fawcett on Sunday evening. Davis was previously committed to Kentucky. The early signing period for college football opens Wednesday.
Davis, who is from Cleveland, Ohio, had been committed to Kentucky since May 1. He is listed at 6 foot, 210 pounds by the recruiting service 247Sports, which has him ranked as the No. 179 prospect in the nation and as the No. 13 overall running back in his class.
Mizzou wrapped up its 2024 regular season on Saturday with a 28-21 home win over Arkansas, which gave Eli Drinkwitz’s team a 9-3 record heading into its bowl game. Kentucky went 4-8 overall with a 1-7 record in SEC play this season.
