Social media reacts to OU football hiring Ben Arbuckle
I love that Arbuckle comes from TX and can continue our recruiting efforts.
I love that he’s YOUNG, INNOVATIVE, RELATABLE.
I love that he has a great track record with QBs.
Let’s get to work!

Of the major candidates, Ben Arbuckle is the one that is the highest risk/reward
If it hits, Oklahoma can put an offense together that, when paired with the rising defense, could compete for championships
That is what Brent Venables is banking on – he’s taking his best shot

Ben Arbuckle- the new Offensive Coordinator for the Oklahoma Sooners.
Who will he bring? Staff? QB? It’s go time.
The dominoes are falling into place in Norman, OK.#OUDNA

I can’t be the only one in Sooner Nation that is tired of the air raid, fast paced offense. We defended the most snaps in college football. That is not a recipe for winning. Can we go back to old school football?#Sooners #Oklahoma #arbuckle

Venables/OU hiring Arbuckle works if John Mateer is coming to Norman as part of a package deal.
THEN that makes sense and is, on balance, a good move for the Sooners.
