2025 NFL Draft order: Three teams fighting for top pick; Aaron Rodgers’ Jets up to No. 6 after another loss

The NFL season is more than two-thirds of the way complete, and the race for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft continues to be a tight one.

There were three 2-9 teams entering Week 13 — the Jaguars, Giants and Raiders — and all three of them lost, so Jacksonville holds the top spot, followed by Las Vegas and then New York. All three clubs have losing streaks of at least five games, so expect them to continue fighting to be the worst of the worst. The Patriots and Panthers — each of whom lost in heartbreaking fashion Sunday — round out the top five.

With Week 13 nearly in the books, CBSSports.com looks at where teams would be picking at this moment in time. Also listed is each club’s pending free agents and potential needs based on those players who may be leaving. 

The draft order, via Tankathon.com, is ordered by win-loss record and ties are broken by strength of schedule. Team needs are a combination of current needs and looking ahead to pending free agents. Notable pending free agents are listed rather than the full list.
