Arkansas football bowl game projections: What are Razorbacks’ potential matchups?

Yes, the Hogs secured bowl eligibility with a 35-14 victory over Louisiana Tech in Week 13 of the college football season. Arkansas finished the season with a 6-6 overall record, which is the minimum requirement to secure a spot in the postseason.

The biggest boost to Arkansas’ postseason hopes was a win over Tennessee in October. The 19-14 victory forced bowl prognosticators to universally plug the Hogs in their latest projections, but they also earned key road SEC victories over Auburn and Mississippi State.

The latest predictions from national media members believe there are two favorites when it comes to bowl destinations for the Hogs.

Two writers for ESPN and CBS Sports’ Jerry Palm all believe Arkansas will play in the Birmingham Bowl on Dec. 27. They all disagree on the opponent, though, with potential matchups featuring Memphis, North Carolina and West Virginia.
