Army football depth chart has a few defense changes for Tulane showdown in AAC title game

The Army football depth chart has been remarkably steady headed into December but the defensive corps is taking a hit.

Senior defensive end Kyle Lewis was injured prior to the Texas San Antonio game last weekend and is likely out for the remainder of the season with a lower body injury. A late scratch was also nose tackle Kody Harris-Miller, a sophomore.

The Army coaches have regularly shuffled in players from the two-deep roster this season, so the small changes in this week’s depth chart may not take on any significance. Senior Dre Miller has slipped ahead of classmate Trey Sofia at one end position. Junior Jacob Tuioti and senior Cody Winokur each filled in for Harris-Miller at nose tackle. With Miller slated to start at one end, junior Jack Latore will be backed up at the other spot by Deshontez Gray.

Army defenders took a beating against UTSA, with a handful being tended to on the field. However, there are no announced changes in the linebacker corps and secondary.
