Early signing day is even earlier now.
High school athletes can sign to play college football beginning Dec. 4, 2024. It has been moved up from the previous date of late December. The early signing period runs through Friday, Dec. 6. The late signing period opens on Feb. 5.
The Colorado State football team is expected to sign more than a dozen members of the 2025 class on Wednesday.
Here is a look at the expected signees. This will be updated through signing day.
Cannon Valenzuela, linebacker
Notable: The 6-foot-3, 200-pound Valenzuela is rated as a three-star recruit out of Jacksboro, Texas. Valenzuela is a do-it-all athlete at Jacksboro. He had 1,392 receiving yards and 22 touchdowns in 2024 as well as 136 tackles, nine tackles-for-loss and three interceptions. Valenzuela averaged 15 points and six rebounds per game last season in basketball. He has reported offers from Houston, Air Force and Army, among others.

Antoine Martin, receiver
Notable: The 5-foot-11, 165-pound Martin is rated as a three-star recruit out of Iowa Colony, Texas. His team is alive in the Texas state playoffs and Martin has 18 catches for 455 yards and eight touchdowns. Martin chose CSU over reported offers from Kansas State, Vanderbilt, Arkansas State and others.
Clarence Taylor, receiver
Notable: The 6-foot-1, 165-pound Taylor is rated as a three-star prospect out of Pleasant Grove, Alabama. Taylor had 28 catches for 544 yards and six touchdowns in 2024. Taylor led all Alabama high school players with 1,621 receiving yards as a junior. He chose CSU over reported offers from Arkansas State, Appalachian State, Alabama A&M and others.
