Four days is a long, long time in college football recruiting.
Class of 2025 and three-star running back Brendon Haygood committed to Missouri football on Tuesday evening. The tailback was committed to Boise State until Saturday, when the tailback announced he was backing out of his pledge to the Mountain West Conference team while on a visit with the Tigers for their game against Arkansas.
Haygood announced his decision live on his personal Instagram account.
With Haygood now on board the night before the early signing period opens, Missouri now has two running backs committed to its Class of 2025.
Get this: Neither of whom were committed to the Tigers when they played Arkansas on Saturday.
In addition to Haygood, Mizzou flipped four-star running back Marquise Davis on Sunday from SEC rival Kentucky. Then, earlier Tuesday, Jamarion Morrow backed out of his Mizzou pledge and flipped to Texas A&M.

Haygood is the No. 688-ranked player in his class, per the recruiting service 247Sports’ composite rankings. The Sachse, Texas, product is the No. 51-ranked running back in his class.

With all the commitments and decommitments likely done for the day Tuesday, Mizzou now has the No. 21-ranked recruiting class in this cycle, per 247Sports’ composite national team rankings. That is good for 11th in the SEC.
