It’s officially known as the Early Signing Period, but has become known as signing day since things were opened up in December rather than the traditional Signing Day in the following February.
That’s because almost all of the big-time programs will put together the vast majority of their signing classes on the first day of the Early Signing Period, making the rest of the recruiting cycle a simple afterthought.
The Ohio State football program is expected to sign one of the best 2025 classes in the country and the hope is that there’s not too much drama as things unfold on Wednesday.
