Michigan State football WR Jaron Glover to re-enter transfer portal

Michigan State wide receiver Jaron Glover reportedly will re-enter the transfer portal, according to a report from On3.com.

The third-year sophomore previously tested the portal last December but opted to remain in East Lansing. The 6-foot-1, 204-pound native of Sarasota, Florida, has two more years of eligibility remaining.

Michigan State Spartans wide receiver Jaron Glover catches a pass for a touchdown as Maryland Terrapins defensive back Jalen Huskey defends during the second quarter at SECU Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024 in College Park, Md.

Glover finished this season with 15 caches for 192 yards and two touchdowns in seven games, missing five games and portions of another with injuries. He was targeted twice in MSU’s 41-14 loss to Rutgers end the season Saturday, catching one pass for 22 yards and missing another deep ball from quarterback Aidan Chiles on a diving attempt.

As a redshirt freshman in 2023, Glover had 14 catches for 261 yards.

Glover joins third-year sophomore defensive end Ken Talley as Spartans planning to enter the portal when it opens Monday.
