The Oregon Ducks were crowned champions on Saturday night.
It’s not the championship that they ultimately desire, though.
Dan Lanning and the Ducks outlasted the Penn State Nittany Lions in a 45-37 thriller, winning the Big Ten Championship in their first season as members of the conference. With the win, they clinched the No. 1 spot in the upcoming College Football Playoff, and secured a first-round bye, followed by a quarterfinals game in the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day.
But what are the odds they keep winning beyond that? What are the chances that Oregon hoists that championship trophy that they so desire at the end of the season?
