The big reveal for Georgia football and other playoff contenders comes on ESPN in a show that starts at noon on Sunday.
Georgia knows it’s locked up a CFP quarterfinal spot after its overtime win over Texas on Saturday in the SEC Championship Game. The Bulldogs are expected to play in the Sugar Bowl Jan. 1.

The top 12 seeds and the 12-team CFP bracket will be released first, and then the entire top 25 rankings will come out later during a show that runs until 4 p.m. The bracket will be revealed “within the show’s first 30 minutes,” according to ESPN.
Who will Georgia play in College Football Playoff?
Georgia will play the winner of a first-round game that will be held Dec. 20 or 21. USA Today’s projection Saturday night was the Bulldogs would be the No. 2 seed and would play No. 7 Notre Dame or No. 10 Indiana.
CFP schedule
The first-round games will be held on campuses of the higher seeded team on Dec. 20 and 21. The four quarterfinal games will be held at bowl sites. The Fiesta Bowl is at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 31 and the Peach Bowl is at 1 p.m. on Jan. 1, the Rose Bowl at 5 p.m. on Jan. 1 and the Sugar Bowl at8:45 p.m. on Jan. 1.
When is CFP bracket out?
The bracket will be released Sunday in a show that starts at noon on ESPN. Reporter Holly Rowe is scheduled to be at Georgia during the show.
