The College Football Playoff field is set and Indiana will play Notre Dame for the first time in more than 30 years on Dec. 20.
It’ll be by far the most expensive first-round CFP game. According to StubHub, the cheapest ticket as of Monday night is $824. When you tack on fees, it’ll cost $1,115.
The game in South Bend will mark the first time the two Indiana schools have faced off since 1991. Notre Dame’s Dick Rosenthal, the athletic director at the time, said that ticket was difficult to get as well.
“This is the hardest ticket we’ve had since I can remember,” Rosenthal said in 1991. “It’s just impossible. I’ve had more requests for Indiana-Notre Dame tickets than any game I can remember.”

No. 5 Texas vs No. 12 Clemson College Football Playoff ticket prices
Texas and Clemson on StubHub at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin ranks second in ticket prices. The cheapest ticket is $256 for a single ticket and $261 for two. When you add fees, that’s $349 and $355, respectively.
No. 8 Ohio State vs No. 9 Tennessee College Football Playoff ticket prices
Ohio State and Tennessee on StubHub at Ohio Stadium in Columbus ranks third in ticket prices. The cheapest ticket is $262 before fees and $356 after.
No. 6 Penn State vs No. 11 SMU College Football Playoff ticket prices
Penn State vs SMU on StubHub at Beaver Stadium in University Park is the cheapest first-round CFP game. The least expensive ticket before fees is $99 before fees and $144 after.
