The College Football Playoff bracket is set.
Under the new College Football Playoff rules, 12 teams have advanced to the playoffs. The first-round games will take place on Friday, Dec. 20 and Saturday, Dec. 21.
The winner of the Ohio State (10-2) and Tennessee (10-2) matchup on Dec. 21 will advance to take on No. 1 Oregon (13-0) in the Rose Bowl.
If the Vols advance to the Rose Bowl, it would be Tennessee’s third appearance in the historic game and the first since 1945.

The Rose Bowl is a renowned New Year’s Day bowl game, also called the “granddaddy of them all.”
The game was introduced in 1902 and has been an annual football tradition since 1916. The bowl game is a part of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses.
Under the revamped College Football Playoff system, the Rose Bowl will serve as a venue for a CFP quarterfinal matchup.
