LSU football standout RT Emery Jones Jr. declares for 2025 NFL Draft

BATON ROUGE — LSU football standout right tackle Emery Jones Jr. announced he will enter the 2025 NFL Draft.

“Baton Rouge has always been, and will always be, my home,” Jones said in a written statement. “Growing up in Baton Rouge, attending games at Tiger Stadium, instilled in me a deep sense of pride and longing to one day represent the state of Louisiana by running our of that tunnel in Death Valley on a Saturday night.

“To my God and my angels (Emery Jones Sr.) that watch over me, I’m not done yet. I ask that you continue to watch over me and guide me throughout this next chapter of life. With that being said, I will be declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft.”

LSU has now seen both of its starting offensive tackles declare for the draft as star left tackle Will Campbell declared last week.
