Teddy Bridgewater on cusp of history in first year coaching Miami Northwestern football

Teddy Bridgewater has had a legendary year, and now he is one win from adding another trophy to his collection.

In September, the former Louisville quarterback was inducted into the Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame. In October, the Cardinals honored his jersey at L&N Stadium.

In his first year as a high school head coach, the former NFL quarterback has led Miami Northwestern, his alma mater, to an 11-2 record and a spot in the FHSAA Class 3A state title game.

Northwestern is scheduled to play Raines (13-0) at 7:30 p.m. Saturday for the crown.
